Meghan Markle: What must the new royal always travel with?
Meghan Markle, 36, is to become the newest member of the Royal Family when she marries her fiance, Prince Harry, 33, later this year.
The young couple are to wed on May 19 as one of the biggest royal events of the year.
Along with many royal traditions, Meghan will also join her husband on state visits both in the UK and abroad.
As part of this, she will also be required to travel with a particular item which she may have previously not.
All members of the Royal Family must take a black mourning outfit with them.

This means they can then be seen to show their respects and be in mourning on the day of when it happens.
Queen Elizabeth once fell afoul of this when she became Queen in 1952.
Whilst travelling Kenya as part of an international tour, with her husband Prince Philip, her father King George Vi died in the UK.
However, she did not have a black outfit to wear when disembarking the plane when landing in England.

This is because it was sent ahead, meaning she only had a colourful day dress to wear.
To get around this faux pas, she was required to stay on the plane until an alternative black outfit was brought to her.
Since this happened, all royal family members both male and female must always take a black outfit with them.
Meghan has already shown off her style credentials in black on a number of visits.
She wore a black Alexander McQueen suit at the Endeavour Funds Awards Ceremony in London, as well as a black coat and matching jeans whilst in Cardiff.

What other essential items has Meghan Markle admitted to taking with her whilst travelling?
When the ex-actress created her lifestyle blog The Tig, which has since closed down, she revealed a number of travel essentials.
One of these was a scarf which she says helps to feel like home as well as get some comfort on the plane.
She also swears by taking hand sanitiser to wipe down the surfaces on the plane when boarding.
Whilst she admits other passengers may give “side eye” it will also mean avoiding catching any illnesses.
