New Orleans inspired dishes will be coming to London’s restaurants next week

To mark the National Football League’s big sporting moments in the capital between the legendary New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins, two of the Crescent city’s most loved restaurants will take up residencies.

Iconic restauranteur Dickie Brennan will be at Boisdale in Canary Wharf from Monday (September 25 to Sunday October 1) and glorious Galatoire’s will host a special pop-up dining series at the Beaumont Hotel from Wednesday to Saturday (September 27-30).

“We are thrilled to see these highly regarded Louisianan chefs and restaurants bringing their skills and passion for food to London,” says Neil Jones, senior manager for New Orleans CVB & Louisiana Office of Tourism UK & Ireland.

And if that gives you the taste for more exploring the wonders of the Big Easy first hand have never been easier.

“This has been a great year for New Orleans with the launch of the direct service from London Heathrow with British Airways, “ Jones adds.

“The timings of the flights make it easy to consider the city for a long weekend to discover some of the city’s signature dishes or to book a longer trip and explore the plantation homes and bayous of Louisiana.”
